Suction benches
Suction benches are designed to protect the operator from fumes and volatile dust emitted from professional work such as welding, deburring, sanding or grinding of metals in the metalworking industry, foundries and all areas where surface treatments with dry abrasives are carried out. It is also used for cleaning parts or blowing parts with related dust emission.
The reasons for the success of suction benches in both small and large companies are both technical and practical, with final and perhaps decisive addition represented by an increasingly convenient solution/price ratio.
Winning points of suction benches
-diffuse suction over a much larger work area than the hood of a suction arm
-suction from below or in front, complying with new regulations and authority guidelines
-the table top looks like a table-top workstation, which can be equipped as desired
-mobile versions with integrated filtration and fan are true workstations
-multiple side-by-side or front suction benches installed "island-style" can be connected to centralized suction systems
Operation
Very often, when our customers come to view the suction benches in production, they instinctively rest their hand on the work surface of the suction bench, which in the standard versions is made as in the photo on the right, with a series of circular holes specially sized to ensure an even air flow over the entire suction surface. However, resting one's hand on it to feel "how much suction" as one would with a classic hood or extractor fan, one is usually somewhat puzzled because there is apparently little suction at that point, even though the bench works perfectly.
Instead, they are happily impressed when we tell them to move their hand away from the countertop and open their fingers, doing so is in fact possible to perceive a high suction rate, the famous suction flow perceived by the operator if the vacuum bench is properly designed.
Plug-and-play versions
The suction benches of the SBV / SBC series are ready to use, no fans, external filters or electrical connections are needed for is already included the electrical panel on board.
