SBF suction bench with integrated filters

The SBF suction bench is the ideal solution for sucking in fumes and dust and working safely when welding, deburring, sanding or grinding metals. In fact, the practical and sturdy top of the suction bench ensureswidespread suction on the work surface and frontally, protecting the operator's respiratory tract.

The bench structure is made of sturdy galvanized (painted upon request) press-folded sheet metal sized to withstand mechanical stress and supported weights.

The support and work surface consists of a reinforced structure on uprights on the sides outside the bench to discharge the weight to the floor.

The front suction bulkhead is constructed of punched galvanized sheet metal for fume extraction; upon request, it is available in anti-rebound metal mesh to cushion any grinding chips.

The filter section is incorporated inside the bench and consists of two stages:

• flat metal filters for sparks and coarse particles, consisting of a frame made of U-shaped galvanized sheet metal profiles, two containment meshes of electro-welded galvanized steel wire, and filter media made of layers of metal mesh in cusped aluminum braid.
• rigid pocket filters for fine dust, consisting of a molded polypropylene frame with high mechanical strength within which the filter panels are housed. The filter media is made of fire-retardant and water-repellent glass microfiber paper is pleated and evenly spaced by thermoplastic separators.

Onthe side, the hole for exhausting the filtered airis made with an outlet of rectangular section of appropriate size, so that the exhaust piping can be easily connected. Upon request curve with silencer or suction connection for connecting the bench to the centralized system.

Larger slag and any accidentally droppedobjects remain in the easily opened collection drawers on the front of the bench.

In this version the bench is complete with filters; an external suction fan or a centralized plant to which it can be connected with adequate pressure is needed (see rated flow rates).
